The Call is a suspense-thriller…horror science-fiction Korean movie.
Storyline
The story of the movie starts with a girl named Seo-yeon.
Her mother has a tumor, so she has to go to her hometown.
Where one day a call comes on the house landline.
In which a girl asks for her help…her mother has locked her in a room and is torturing her.
But they cannot talk for a long time.
After some time, Seo-yeon finds a secret room in her house and finds a photo and diary of a girl inside it.
From her uncle, she learns that the name of the girl in the photo is Yeong-sook, who lived in this house with her mother 20 years ago.
And her mother was a tantric.
When another day, that girl calls on the landline asking for help, Seo-yeon talks to her for a long time and she is shocked.
Because the girl she is talking to is Yeong-sook and she has talking to her from 20 years past.
